Old Work: The Von Bondies Poster (January 2008)

This is a poster I did for The Von Bondies' show at The El Mocambo in Toronto on January 16th 2008.



For the heart, I brushed a sheet of paper with acrylic paint. Cut out a heart, tore it into pieces, stapled it back together and scanned it into Photoshop.

For the band name, I wrote it really small on sheet of paper using a regular HB pencil and then I enlarged it with a scanner to create the chalky-like writing.
And the rest of the text is Century Gothic. I know it's a font all graphic designers hate, but I like it. so yea.. :P
