Melt into the Sidewalk is my (second) flash animation I created when I was a student. The music is by a defunct Montreal electro pop band called A Vertical Mosaic.
(brainstorming sketches)When I was in college, I discovered this band through a message board (r.i.p. antiantenna)and I instantly fell in love with their music. I picked up the AVM albums and then started using their songs for Flash and AfterEffect exercises in class. The band has always been a source of inspiration for my animation/video work... even after the band broke up and evolved into Hexes & Ohs, a new and poppier/rockier version of their old self.
